Job Description:



We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team and work alongside a Senior DBA to manage and maintain Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases on Windows environments. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance, high availability, and security of the database infrastructure while supporting application development and troubleshooting issues.





Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases on Windows and Microsoft SQL Server Always On Failover Clusters.
  • Monitor and tune database performance, optimizing SQL queries and indexing.
  • Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and performance issues.
  • Perform database upgrades, patching, and migrations.
  • Ensure database security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with development and application teams to support deployment and integration.
  • Maintain clear and updated documentation on database configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Participate in capacity planning and performance-tuning activities.
  • Stay current with emerging database technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator supporting Oracle databases on Windows and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
  • Strong knowledge of database architecture, design, and administration principles.
  • Experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Azure SQL, Oracle Cloud).
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools for database management.
