Position: AWS IoT Architect
Location: Miami, Florida (Onsite)
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS IoT Architect with hands-on expertise in architecting and implementing IoT solutions using AWS services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with IoT device connectivity, security, edge computing, and cloud-native integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize IoT solutions leveraging AWS IoT Core, IoT Greengrass, IoT Device Management, IoT Jobs, and Device Defender.
- Develop secure, scalable IoT architectures to support real-time data ingestion, processing, and analytics.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to define IoT solution requirements and architecture roadmaps.
- Implement security best practices across device identity, access management, and data encryption using AWS IAM, KMS, and Device Defender.
- Integrate IoT services with serverless compute (Lambda) and container-based services (ECS/EKS) for scalable backend solutions.
- Monitor and optimize IoT workloads using CloudWatch and other observability tools.
- Ensure robust networking and connectivity across IoT devices using AWS VPC and networking services.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in IoT architecture, design patterns, and implementation strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on expertise in AWS IoT services (IoT Core, Greengrass, Device Management, Jobs, Device Defender).
- Solid experience with AWS networking, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS, and EKS.
- Proven ability to design secure and scalable IoT architectures.
- Experience in IoT device onboarding, lifecycle management, and edge computing.
- Familiarity with real-time data streaming, analytics, and integration patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
