Role: Senior ISE Engineer
Location: Remote (U.S. Only) | Travel: Less than 10%

We're hiring a Senior ISE Engineer for one of our clients in the cybersecurity and enterprise networking space. This is a remote, full-time opportunity to manage large-scale Cisco ISE deployments across a high-availability enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain multiple Cisco ISE instances across an enterprise network.
- Assist Security Operations teams with configuring logs, maintaining system security, and conducting forensic investigations.
- Troubleshoot network access issues including 802.1x, device authentication, and administrative configurations.
- Provide knowledge transfer and informal training to engineering and operational staff.
- Optimize ISE platform performance and ensure alignment with best practices.
- Support ISE-related logging, monitoring, and incident response activities.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in deploying and managing Cisco ISE in large-scale environments.
- Expert-level knowledge of:
- 802.1x, RADIUS, and EAP-TLS protocols
- Wired and wireless network access control (NAC)
- Certificate-based authentication and identity services
- Deep understanding of Cisco ISE architecture, platform tuning, and operational excellence.
- Strong familiarity with security event logging and forensic analysis.
- Working knowledge of network fundamentals.
- Certifications: CCNA (or higher), Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience implementing Cisco-based wireless infrastructure.
- Experience working in security-sensitive enterprise environments.
