Primary Purpose:
Responsible for a wide range of activities and a broad spectrum of technology. Including, but not limited to, providing network and end user device support for all district locations while maintaining established district standards and the district overall mission and strategic plan.

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:

Frequent prolonged and irregular hours; Operate Motor vehicle; Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer; steady phone interactions; moderate standing, walking, and bending. Possible afterhours or weekend work when required

Primary Purpose:

Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's, Associates, or Technical degree
- Or at least four documented years related experience
- Or documented equivalent combination of education and experience
- Have a valid Texas Driver's License and maintain insurance requirements of PISD
- Must pass drug test and physical and be part of a random drug testing program. Must pass criminal history check
Special Knowledge/ Skills/Experience
- Knowledge of computer workstation, laptop, and tablet setup. Specifically, Windows operating systems as well as Google Chromebooks and Ipads a plus.
- Knowledge, understanding, and practical application of technologies, protocols, and related standards including TCP/IP, Ethernet and Wireless
- Ability to install, maintain and troubleshoot network printers
- Excellent organizational, documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Skills using and troubleshooting MS Office, Office 365, Google Domain, OneNote, etc.
- Experience with Anti-virus and Anti Spyware solutions.
- Knowledge of Cisco IP Telephony and Enterprise grade wireless and wired Infrastructure a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing needs
- Work well with other technical and management professionals
- Maintain the districts standards for technology.
- Install, configuration, modification and maintenance of computer hardware and software systems.
- Provide day-to-day support for the districts workstations, tablet, network printers and software products
- Provide software support to end-users on Microsoft Office , O365, and Google Product Suites
- Troubleshoot and resolve workstation, computer software, and network printers issues
- Install security cameras, Wireless Access Points, IP phones, network switches.
- Other duties as assigned.
