Position: Wireless Engineer

Wireless Engineer 2
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform **planning, forecasting, implementation,** and resource identification for complex wireless network systems.
- Design, develop, and implement **wireless network enhancements** with recommendations for improvement.
- Implement **wireless network architecture and designs.**
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate in wireless network planning, architecture design, and engineering.
- Integrate and illustrate **communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission, signaling links,** and protocols into **complete wireless network configurations.*
- Evaluate new products and perform **wireless network problem resolution.**
- Develop and implement **approved methods of procedure.**
Required Qualifications:
- Data wireless networking (OSI Model, TCP/IP, etc.)
- Wireless industry specifications and standards (IEEE, ANSI, 802.11 variants, Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet, Transport technologies)
- Wireless network design, architecture, protocols, and topology
- Basic wireless network devices and appliances
- Wireless network design software (Visio) and Microsoft Office
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree** in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years** of wireless network experience.
Certifications & Training:
- Cisco Certified Wireless Network Professional (CCNP)
- Wireless industry/vendor-specific training (Cisco, Ariss, Ruckus, etc.)
