  • Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute) are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, validate, and document detailed business requirements for life insurance and annuity products.

Analysis & Design:

  • Analyze existing business processes, systems, and data to identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Design functional solutions that meet business and regulatory needs.

Project Management & Delivery:

  • Lead and manage projects related to the development and implementation of annuity products.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client goals.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as a primary liaison between business users, product managers, actuaries, compliance teams, and IT.
  • Communicate clearly and ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

Documentation:

  • Prepare detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.

Testing & Validation:

  • Develop and execute test plans to validate the accuracy and functionality of life insurance and annuity products.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and defect resolution.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all solutions and processes comply with relevant insurance regulations and industry standards.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and drive better outcomes.
