MEP Engineer
A leading engineering consulting firm in downtown Chicago is seeking experienced Senior and Supervising MEP Engineers to join their team. This group specializes in designing critical facilities, data centers, and healthcare projects, delivering high-performance solutions for complex building systems.
As a Senior or Supervising Engineer, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary MEP design efforts, mentoring junior engineers, and serving as a technical authority on projects. Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in MEP engineering (Senior Engineer) or 12+ years (Supervising Engineer).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Project experience in critical facilities/data centers or healthcare sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and coordinate across disciplines.
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems.
- Able to work onsite in downtown Chicago as needed.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Proven leadership and mentorship of engineering teams.
- Client-facing experience with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
- Familiarity with sustainable design and emerging technologies in the MEP field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
