Junior Data Analyst

Position Overview:

As the Junior Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our operational processes by leveraging the power of artificial intelligence and automation. Your primary objectives will be to increase efficiency, enhance data analysis capabilities, and develop applications to benefit both the company and our customers. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, purchasing, and warehouse operations, you will lead the integration of AI technologies to optimize our business operations and improve decision-making.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive AI integration strategy, considering the company's goals and objectives.
  • Assess existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency through the application of AI technologies.
  • Lead the design and development of AI-driven applications and systems tailored to the company's specific requirements.
  • Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and provide actionable recommendations to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Ensure seamless integration of AI solutions with existing systems and infrastructure, minimizing disruptions and optimizing performance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in AI technologies, evaluating their potential impact and relevance.
  • Provide training and support to employees to foster a culture of AI adoption and facilitate successful implementation.
  • Draft comprehensive framework and guidelines pertaining to the ethical and responsible use of generative AI, researching the potential societal, ethical, and legal implications of generative AI technology for us and our partners.
  • Establish mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness and impact of the generative AI framework and policies.
  • Document the generative AI policy framework, guidelines, and procedures in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Prepare reports or presentations summarizing the key findings of the research, recommendations, and policies.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in implementing AI and automation solutions in a business setting, preferably within the distribution industry.
  • Strong knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, along with experience working with AI frameworks and libraries.
  • Solid understanding of data management, data analysis, and data visualization techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into AI-driven solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
