Our West Coast client is seeking a fully remote Sr. Mirth Integration Analyst to join their team ASAP on a 6-month contract + possible extensions.

Required Technical Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare data integration and interoperability.
- Strong expertise in HL7 v2.x and CCD (Continuity of Care Document) standards, including parsing, mapping, and transformation.
- Hands-on experience with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources), including converting legacy formats (HL7/CCD) to FHIR messages.
- Proficiency with Mirth Connect:
- Channel development and deployment.
- Scripting (JavaScript, SQL, etc.) within Mirth.
- Troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, especially:
- Data ingestion pipelines.
- Secure storage and transmission of health data.
- Use of AWS Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and possibly HealthLake or other FHIR-compatible services.
- Knowledge of healthcare data privacy and security standards, including HIPAA compliance.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with clinical data
- Experience with ETL (large scale batch loads)
- Familiarity with clinical terminology standards (e.g., SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON/XML data formats.
- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for integration deployment.
Soft Skills & Other Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across technical and clinical teams.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in documenting integration workflows and data mappings.
