Job Details

Our West Coast client is seeking a fully remote Sr. Mirth Integration Analyst to join their team ASAP on a 6-month contract + possible extensions.

Required Technical Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare data integration and interoperability.
  • Strong expertise in HL7 v2.x and CCD (Continuity of Care Document) standards, including parsing, mapping, and transformation.
  • Hands-on experience with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources), including converting legacy formats (HL7/CCD) to FHIR messages.
  • Proficiency with Mirth Connect:
    • Channel development and deployment.
    • Scripting (JavaScript, SQL, etc.) within Mirth.
    • Troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services, especially:
    • Data ingestion pipelines.
    • Secure storage and transmission of health data.
    • Use of AWS Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and possibly HealthLake or other FHIR-compatible services.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data privacy and security standards, including HIPAA compliance.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience working with clinical data
  • Experience with ETL (large scale batch loads)
  • Familiarity with clinical terminology standards (e.g., SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON/XML data formats.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for integration deployment.

Soft Skills & Other Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across technical and clinical teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in documenting integration workflows and data mappings.
