A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Security Analyst.

Position Type: Full-Time,
Contract
Duration: 6 months
Location: Maryland Heights MO (Hybrid)

 

As a Security Analyst, you will:

  • Serve as a key liaison across internal teams, helping drive remediation efforts and support audit readiness.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity compliance activities and process execution.
  • Lead and support procedural and technical documentation, including process mapping, ticket resolution procedures, and SOP refinement.
  • Coordinate and drive resolution of backlog items, working closely with internal and external teams.
  • Use tools like JIRA, Microsoft SharePoint, Sharework ITSM, and RSA Archer to manage tasks and documentation.
  • Engage with software security tools such as Veracode, ASI, Centrast, and Qualys to support ongoing vulnerability management.
  • Interface with DevOps and engineering teams using GitLab, Bitbucket, Unix/Linux systems, APIs, and microservices (including React-based web apps).
  • Ensure alignment with Agile project management practices and proactively drive outcomes without micromanagement.
  • Foster a culture of autonomy and accountability, escalating only after exhausting internal resources and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels, including directors and VPs, to support cybersecurity and compliance initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proficient in tools such as Veracode, ASI, Centrast, JFrog (Ray), RSA Archer, Sharework, and ticketing systems.
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, CCSP, or CSCP preferred.
  • Strong foundation in cybersecurity processes, compliance frameworks, audit remediation, and security tooling.
  • Prior experience in an analyst, project coordinator, or delivery manager role (not audit-heavy or overly technical roles).
  • Process-oriented, self-directed, proactive, and highly autonomous comfortable "captaining their own ship.
  • Able to engage credibly with senior stakeholders while managing internal relationships across a growing team.
  • Familiarity with AWS (cloud and on-prem), Unix/Linux environments, Postech, VMS, Java, and API-based services.
  • Agile-minded, responsive, focused on documentation and follow-through; thrives in environments where continuous improvement and iteration are key.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $60-$65 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
