Job Title:
Senior Azure Systems Administrator
Location: Hybrid - (Onsite 3x/week)
Candidates must only hold US passport, no dual Citizenship
Duration: 13+ months (possibility of converting into Fulltime)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Azure Systems Administrator to manage and support cloud and on-prem infrastructure across a hybrid environment. You ll work with Azure, Windows, and Linux systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance. This role requires strong scripting, automation, and system administration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage Azure cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage)
- Support and troubleshoot Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy)
- Maintain and patch Linux systems (RedHat, CentOS, or SUSE)
- Develop automation using PowerShell or Bash; use Ansible for deployments
- Monitor system health and performance; manage backups and patching
- Enforce security standards and support vulnerability management
- Collaborate across IT, Cybersecurity, and DevOps teams
Required Skills:
- 5+ years in Systems or Cloud Administration
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
- Proficient with Windows Server and Linux OS
- Automation experience with PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible
- Familiarity with firewalls, networking, and security protocols
- Eligible for U.S. Government Clearance
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-303/304, etc.)
- Experience with SEIM tools, monitoring, and NIST 800-53
