Enterprise Resources Planning Implementation Consultant 

New York City Metropolitan Area

 

A highly successful, second-generation, family-owned wholesale organization is migrating from a legacy ERP to Eclipse and is seeking a consultant to work directly with the COO and own the client-side implementation.

They must have hands-on Epicor Eclipse ERP experience with multiple migrations.

I need clarity on:

  • How many Epicor Eclipse ERP migrations they have completed
  • The role they played in each migration
  • Which Epicor Eclipse modules they are most familiar with
  • Are they a citizen? 
  • Where do they live?
  • Are they open to travel on an as needed basis? 

This is a 6–12 month contract engagement with strong potential to convert into a full-time role.

 

Title: Functional Title: ERP Data Migration / Implementation Consultant (Eclipse)

Location: New York Metro area with a hybrid onsite presence in Brooklyn, NY or Bayonne, NJ.

Position: Contract with a chance to go perm

 

Overview

This role supports a multi-generation, high-volume wholesale plumbing supplies company undergoing a critical ERP transition. The company is implementing Eclipse and migrating from its current ERP (DDI), with a strong focus on improving processes, workflows, and system functionality. Prior exposure to wholesale distribution, plumbing supplies, building materials, or manufacturing environments is highly preferred.

 

The consultant will own the client-side data migration and implementation effort, working closely with the COO and serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the ERP data migration from DDI to Eclipse.
  • Run the implementation from the client side, interfacing with the Eclipse implementation team and internal stakeholders.
  • Own company data cleanup, validation, and integrity.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact alongside the COO for the duration of the migration.
  • Ensure successful implementation across all Eclipse modules.
  • Configure Eclipse to support proper workflows, controls, and system functionality.
  • Enhance and optimize existing business processes as part of the implementation.

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong project management and business analysis skills.
  • Hands-on ERP data migration and implementation experience.
  • Prior experience with DDI is strongly preferred.
  • Deep familiarity with Eclipse ERP and its modules.
  • Experience with Eclipse add-ons, including Carton Pack and Advanced Bin Management.
  • Proven ability to create, document, and implement business processes and workflows.
  • Subject matter expertise across core functional areas:
  • Accounting
  • Warehouse Operations
  • WMS
  • Shipping
  • Trucking and Routing
  • Background in wholesale distribution, plumbing supplies, building materials, or manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
