Data Architect

We are looking to fill a long-term Contract role as Data Architect

Mode of Interview: In Person/ Webcam

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Work Location: Columbia, SC

Shift: EST

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Modelling, and Data Governance, with at least 3 years managing large-scale data or integration projects as a dedicated Project Lead.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of various data modeling techniques (Relational, Dimensional, NoSQL) and strong skills in SQL, database optimization, and performance tuning.
• MDM/Data Quality Tooling: Practical experience defining or implementing solutions using commercial or open-source MDM and data quality tools.
• Public Sector/Regulated Environment: Demonstrable experience working within government, public sector, or highly regulated environments with strict data security and compliance requirements.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to drive consensus among diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders, manage project budgets, and mentor technical staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Certification in Data Management (e.g., CDMP) or Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM, or Agile certifications).
• Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience architecting data solutions using cloud-native services (e.g., AWS S3/Redshift/Glue or Azure Data Lake/Synapse Analytics).
• Data Visualization: Experience with enterprise BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) from an architectural standpoint.
• ERP Data Experience: Familiarity with the data structures and integration points of large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
