We are looking for a Senior Automation Analyst - Technical Lead to join and guide our high-performing automation team. This role blends hands-on technical delivery with leadership responsibilities, overseeing a team of developers in designing, building, and delivering complex automation solutions. You will serve as the technical lead, mentor, and strategic partner, driving automation initiatives across the organization.

responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of automation developers by example, providing guidance on architecture, coding standards, and best practices
- Works hand in hand with the Automation solution architect to design, document and implement best in class solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate, as well as providing technical support for Automation Anywhere automations.
- Ensure quality and consistency across automation projects through code reviews, mentoring, and documentation
- Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the automation team, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Strong understanding of software development, scripting, and coding languages (e.g., Python, Java, or scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell).
- Integrate with enterprise data systems leveraging API's (SOAP/REST) or using SQL Server and Oracle, and author complex, high-performance SQL queries
- Architect and maintain automation infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, leveraging services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and App Services
- Implement and oversee CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated testing, deployment, and code quality checks are enforced
- Manage version control and branching strategies using Azure DevOps (ADO) and Git
- Promote automation standards, governance, and continuous improvement throughout the development lifecycle
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management practices.
qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in automation design and development
- 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring technical teams in an automation or development environment
- Expert-level proficiency in Power Automate, including cloud and desktop flows
- Hands-on experience with UiPath and/or Automation Anywhere in addition to power automate
- Prior experience leading cross-functional automation projects in a fast-paced enterprise environment
- Strong programming skills with JavaScript and Python
- 3+ years of experience in object-oriented programming (e.g., C#, Java, .NET)
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with SQL Server and Oracle
- In-depth understanding of Azure cloud services, including security and scalability best practices
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment frameworks
- Proficiency in version control tools including ADO Repos and Git
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Basic knowledge of artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience leading cross-functional automation projects in a fast-paced enterprise environment
- Microsoft certifications in Power Platform or Azure
- Exposure to containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Knowledge of business process modeling (e.g., BPMN)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Azure Boards or Jira
- Advanced knowledge of artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Insurance industry preferred
