ADABAS Natural Programmer

FedTec is seeking ADABAS Natural Programmer , who has deep expertise in Natural programming, ADABAS databases, and production support.

Position : ADABAS Natural Programmer

Location: Columbia , SC- Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Natural programming language and ADABAS databases.
• Work within the NaturalONE/Eclipse development environment to deliver high-quality code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior or permanent staff members.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and implement functional requirements.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and security in both batch and online processing environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation as needed.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Natural programming and ADABAS databases.
• Experience working in NaturalONE/Eclipse environments.
• Strong domain knowledge of payroll, accounting, or financial systems. (Experience with retirement claims is a plus.)
• Proven experience in production support, issue resolution, and troubleshooting application problems.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior developers or permanent team members.
