Description
SAIC is seeking Test Engineers to join the Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) Advanced Development Operations (DevOps) and Sustainment Support (ADOS) program and provide support to facilitate operations of critical MARS infrastructure and services.
This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/ modernize MARS.
This position will be located in the National Capital Region.

Description

The Test Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Experience in software testing with expertise in advanced test design techniques
- Significant experience in test automation, performance testing, and continuous integration
- Ability to lead testing efforts, provide technical guidance, and ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scrips, manage complex test threads, and optimize test script performance including Functional, Ad Hoc, API, and Regression Testing
- Monitor test executions and analyze outcomes to identify any discrepancies or failures
- Continuously improve test methodologies to enhance test accuracy and reliability and update test documentation to reflect any changes in requirements or procedures
- Identify software quality problems and coordinate with system developers to resolve defects
Qualifications
- Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- One Active Certification(s): CompTIA Security+, Certified Software Tester (CSTE), CompTIA Network+
- Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science and 9 years or more relevant experience (will consider an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, etc.
- Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Junit, TestNG)
- Experience with automated test script execution and management
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for test scripts
- Experience in an Agile environment, working in Sprints

- Test Engineer Senior: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science and 5 years or more relevant experience (will consider an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
- Test Engineer Senior Principal: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science and 14 years or more relevant experience (will consider an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
