Position: Blue Yonder Developer

About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Blue Yonder Software Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions and integrations within the Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) platform. This role requires strong programming skills and experience working with APIs, data structures, and custom modules within Blue Yonder's application suite.
You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, IT, and Data Engineering, to develop scalable, high-performance solutions that support mission-critical business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom code within the Blue Yonder environment (e.g., Supply Planning, Demand Planning, or Transportation Management modules).
- Build and maintain integrations between Blue Yonder and enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, etc.) using tools such as REST APIs, XML, JSON, or middleware platforms.
- Develop and enhance Blue Yonder workflows, custom user interfaces, and business logic using Blue Yonder SDK and supported programming languages.
- Work with data teams to define and implement ETL processes and data mappings into/out of Blue Yonder systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in live and test environments.
- Maintain code quality and best practices through version control, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of hands-on development experience within the Blue Yonder (JDA) platform.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: Java, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, Python, or C/C++, depending on the module used.
- Strong experience with Blue Yonder APIs, custom configuration, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of Blue Yonder database schemas and planning architecture.
- Experience with integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, TIBCO, Informatica) and data exchange formats (XML, JSON, Flat Files).
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and version control systems like Git.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
- Prior work with Luminate Platform and/or Control Tower.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with performance tuning and batch job optimization.
