Job Title: Systems Integration and Test Engineer (Third Shift)
Location: Chelmsford, MA- onsite

Work Schedule: Thursday - Sunday, 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM
About the Job

As a Systems Integration and Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in planning, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to synthesize customer requirements into effective system test solutions, ensuring technical, schedule, and cost constraints are met.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for systems and subsystems.
  • Establish functional and technical specifications and standards.
  • Solve hardware/software interface problems and define input/output parameters.
  • Ensure integration of entire systems or subsystems.
  • Review and derive requirements for testability.
  • Coordinate testing activities across programs and organizations.
  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed evaluation reports.
  • Write discrepancy reports and perform regression testing to validate fixes.
  • Support and maintain existing software using LabVIEW and/or TestStand.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office to generate reports, plans, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in LabVIEW and/or TestStand for software development and support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 9+ years of professional experience in systems integration and testing.
  • Expertise in measuring electrical parameters for components and subassemblies.
  • Subject matter expertise in RF or Microwave systems and subsystems.
  • Experience developing complex test programs using NI LabVIEW and/or TestStand.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot down to the instrument, fixture, software, or unit under test.
  • Proficiency in creating engineering documentation such as block diagrams and parts lists.
  • Familiarity with Corrective/Preventative Action processes.
  • Experience deriving test requirements from system-level specifications.
  • Ability to identify and document hardware discrepancies.
  • Strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience preparing and delivering technical presentations and trade studies.
