Minimum Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7-10 years of program or project management experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years specifically in data and analytics or technology-focused programs.
Position Summary:
The Data & Analytics Program Manager is accountable for ensuring the effective execution of enterprise-level data and analytics initiatives. This position is responsible for maintaining alignment between business goals, technical implementation, and governance practices. The role involves managing the planning, coordination, and execution of complex, cross-functional projects and programs-ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within defined scope, and with measurable results.
Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Delivery
- Manage the planning, execution, and oversight of data and analytics programs and initiatives.
- Establish program objectives, scope, and success criteria in line with strategic goals.
- Ensure key milestones are met on time while managing interdependencies across various initiatives, teams, and workstreams-adhering to PMO guidelines and standards.
Stakeholder Alignment
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and governance groups to ensure program goals support overall enterprise priorities.
- Serve as a communication bridge among data engineering, analytics, governance, and business units.
- Maintain ownership of program reporting and serve as the main contact for executive updates.
Governance & Standards
- Confirm that data and analytics initiatives conform to enterprise data architecture, governance frameworks, and security protocols.
- Partner with governance and compliance teams to integrate regulatory standards into project delivery.
Resource & Vendor Management
- Oversee internal staff, contractors, and external vendors contributing to data and analytics projects.
- Manage program-related budgets, contracts, and resource assignments to ensure efficiency and value generation.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify and monitor risks, issues, decisions, and interdependencies across all projects; develop and implement mitigation plans.
Value Realization
- Develop and monitor KPIs aligned with business goals and project outcomes, ensuring progress is tracked against business cases, OKRs, and performance metrics.
- Ensure programs support enterprise goals such as reliable data, actionable insights, and regulatory adherence.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale, complex, and cross-functional projects or programs.
- Knowledge of data and analytics disciplines, including data governance, architecture, business intelligence, and advanced analytics.
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery frameworks.
- Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Airtable, Confluence, or PPM platforms.
