Job Details
We have built the best wireless system design team in the world. Are you a dedicated individual wanting to join Apple's Cellular RF Systems Engineering team as a RF System Architect? You will focus on development and innovation of RF transceiver and RF Front End architectures, RF system requirements, and control algorithms. Are you interested in doing work that challenges you, expands your thinking, provides innovative solutions for future problems while driving your growth as recognized technical leader in the cellular industry? Then join our team of leading experts in cellular RF industry to do your life's best work?
Description In this role, you will be part of an industrial leading RF Systems Engineering Team. You will work closely with transmitter and receiver architecture teams, RF design teams, pre- and post-silicon verification teams to drive innovation and next generation product architecture. Your daily work includes the following tasks: Line-up analysis and optimization of signal path partitioning between RF transceiver and RF Front End. Exploration of new RF Front End technologies (LNA, PA, filters, etc.) and their interworking aspects with the RF transceiver. Collaborating with Front End, RX, and TX teams on micro-architecture. Analysis of complex system use cases such as SRS antenna switching, UL switching. Development of control and mapping algorithms for optimum interworking between transceiver and RF Front End. Development of algorithms for RF performance optimization and optimum hardware utilization for multi-SIM use cases. RF Front End innovation for upcoming 6G use cases. Collaboration with baseband system engineering on complex modem use cases, system requirements, and system partitioning. Taking end-to-end RF architecture responsibility, e.g. via simulation, automated requirements analysis, and design reviews. Authoring of system architecture specifications as input to system engineering, design, and validation teams.
