Job Summary
As a Cloud Solutions Engineering Manager in NetApp's Public Cloud Sales organization, you will lead the Eastern US Cloud Solution Architecture team, reporting to the Director of Cloud Solution Architecture. You will be responsible for building and directing a high-performing team of Cloud Solution Architects focused on driving customer adoption of NetApp's cloud services, particularly FSx for NetApp ONTAP and other AWS solutions. This role requires you to be based on the East Time Coast of the United States.
Essential Functions
Lead and develop the Eastern US Cloud Solution Architecture team to achieve revenue targets and customer success objectives
Drive transformation as NetApp evolves into a cloud-first software company, embracing specialized team-based selling methodologies
Collaborate with AWS, customers, and internal stakeholders to create successful business outcomes
Guide technical strategy and execution for enterprise RFP responses and proof-of-concepts
Partner with Sales leadership on territory planning, revenue forecasting, and go-to-market strategies
Build and maintain strong relationships with AWS leadership and key enterprise customers
Manage escalations effectively across customers, product teams, and senior leadership
Foster innovation and technical excellence within the team through mentorship and skill development
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or similar customer-facing technical roles
2+ years of people management experience leading technical teams
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
Deep understanding of public cloud technologies, particularly AWS services and architecture
Strong track record of leading complex technical sales cycles and strategic customer engagements
Proven ability to build and develop high-performing technical teams
Experience with cloud storage, data management, and enterprise infrastructure
Excellence in executive communication and presentation skills
Leadership Competencies
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in matrix organizations
Track record of leading organizational transformation and change management
Strong business acumen with ability to align technical strategy with business objectives
Experience managing and developing IC4-IC6 level technical professionals
History of successful partnership with enterprise sales organizations
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive consensus
Location and Travel
Must be based in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States
Regular travel within the Eastern US region (approximately 40%)
Occasional travel to other regions for company events and customer meetings

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 278,800 - 360,800 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings' (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's).
