The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will build and lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional technical programs that support U.S. federal government software project initiatives. This role requires balancing program leadership with technical fluency, ensuring compliance with federal security and regulatory frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, and DLA requirements, while driving measurable outcomes aligned to strategic objectives. The TPM will build and oversee multi-workstream roadmaps, manage risks and dependencies, and facilitate alignment across engineering, QA, cybersecurity, DevOps, product, and external stakeholders. By translating complex requirements into actionable deliverables, optimizing processes, and fostering transparent communication, the TPM will mitigate risks, accelerate delivery, and ensure mission-critical government software is delivered securely, compliantly, and effectively.

Required Skills
- 3+ years as a Technical Program Manager for Enterprise software products (most likely include previous work experience as a technical project manager).
- Experience building medium complexity technical projects & programs.
- Project experience building strategy, roadmap, assigning resources, managing budgets, timelines, and managing resources to those expectations
- MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps environments, and other project management tools.
- Proficient in Agile program management (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Bachelors Degree
Bonus / Soft Skills:
- Any experience with Mobile and AI
- Experience in federal compliance frameworks such as: FedRAMP, FISMA, SCAP, TSCA and DLA..
- Experience with creating positive engagement, buy-in, and willingness to succeed for technical resources in other groups that do not report to you.
- Experience in cross-functional alignment across engineering teams
- Experience collaborative coaching for technical resources and if needed train up on true Agile best practices. Company has teams who have been promoted within into roles there they have just followed whatever SDLC methodology was always done. Be that person who can help build up agile practices and success by showing others the advantages of these.
- PMP
- Experience in DoD or Federal/Defense regulated program domains.
