Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP ERP Consultant to support a complex reconciliation project following a recent SAP implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to navigate SAP's general ledger and subledgers to resolve discrepancies.
Scope of Work
- Perform detailed reconciliation of a balance sheet transaction clearing account, including:
- Reviewing all entries
- Researching discrepancies
- Providing supporting documentation
- Confirming proper journal entries
- Reconcile two additional balance sheet accounts and one liability account
- Conduct vendor reconciliations and follow up on vendor inquiries
- Collaborate with leadership across the organization to ensure accuracy and compliance
Systems & Tools
- SAP ERP (recently implemented)
- FSP Operations System (used for flight scheduling, student accounts, and billing)
- Excel (Advanced proficiency required: Pivot Tables, What-If Analysis, complex formulas)
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Strong background in SAP ERP
- Intermediate accounting knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills (testing required)
- Ability to work through general ledger and subledger details
- Professional, reliable, and highly organized
- Excellent communication skills; able to interact with leaders across the organization
- Strong analytical mindset and curiosity to resolve complex reconciliation
