Job Details
Position Title: Interactive Designer
Location : Washington, DC
Duties
Skillset
***Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen s client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.***

Duties
- Create low- to high-fidelity wireframes of front-end screens for Commerce
- Develop clickable prototypes for validation with stakeholders and end users
- Apply consistent UI patterns, branding and accessibility standards
- Define interaction states that tie to backend responses
- Iterate designs basked on feedback and performance of prototypes
- Ensure front-end designs meet WCAG and ADA accessibility requirements
- Collaborate with QA on testing
- Support development sprints with design clarifications
Skillset
- Proficiency in Figma
- Experience utilizing design systems; component-based design thinking
- Familiarity with accessibility best practices
- Operating in SAFe agile framework; scrum collaboration and design sprint participation
- Responsive and mobile-first design principles
- Creating design documentation and specifications for developers
- Data-informed design using analytics, heatmaps, and A/B testing
