Job Details

Duration: 12 Months

Work Model: Hybrid - 1 or 2 days a week onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Work with project team and stakeholders to understand processes and pain points
  • Develop expertise in customers' datasets and data lifecycle
  • Profile source data; review content/structure against requirements; identify conflicts and recommendations
  • Conduct entity resolution for matching, merging, semantic conflicts
  • Elicit, record, and manage metadata
  • Diagram current/proposed processes using flows, context diagrams, data flows
  • Document requirements and user stories to improve business/technical processing
  • Decompose requirements into Epics/Features and create clear user stories
  • Utilize elaboration; map stories to data models/architectures for master data management
  • Identify/group related stories into themes, document dependencies/processes
  • Assist Product Owner with product backlog
  • Create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups
  • Collaborate with staff/vendors/consultants on solutions
  • Perform Quality Analyst functions - test objectives, plans, cases, execution
  • Coordinate/Facilitate User Acceptance Testing, inform Project Managers/Scrum Masters

Required:

  • Min. 10 years delivering business data analysis artifacts
  • 5+ years as Agile Business Analyst; strong Scrum understanding
  • Experience organizing/maintaining Product and Sprint backlogs
  • Translating requirements into dataset requirements and user stories
  • Defining acceptance criteria and managing acceptance
  • Experience with enterprise data management
  • Expertise in MS Office products
  • Experience with reporting systems - data stores, warehouses, lakes, marts
  • Exceptional written/oral communication and collaboration skills

Preferred:

  • CBAP and/or CSPO Certification
  • CDMP Certification
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server and work item tracking
  • Experience with automated testing tools like Test Complete
