Job Title: Business Analyst (Fabric)
Location: Montvale, NJ (On-site / Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Experience: 9-10 years
Must have skills:-
Involves Microsoft Fabric components (Dataflows, OneLake, Lakehouse, Pipelines).
Emphasis on data governance, quality, and integration gap analysis.
Define POCs and translate technical features into business value.
Roles and responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering & Documentation
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business and functional requirements.
- Create user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
- Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, grooming sessions, and retrospectives.
- Agile & DevOps Practices
- Work within Agile frameworks.
- Use tools like Azure DevOps or Jira to manage backlogs, user stories, and tasks.
- Communication & Documentation Tools
- Proficient in Visio, Excel, Word for creating process flows, wireframes, and documentation.
- Data & Reporting Understanding
- Collaborate on reporting/dashboard requirements.
Familiarity with Power BI or similar tools.
Educational Qualifications:
- Required - Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
- Preferred - Master s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.
Travel:
- Open to travel based up on the nature of the engagement.
