Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L3 Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our team and support some of our top clients locally in the Los Angeles Metroplex.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting Linux systems, AWS, and Nutanix environments.
- This role requires expertise in managing and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Nutanix environments, including Nutanix Flow, AHV, AOS, and Prism.
- Create, manage, and troubleshoot Nutanix security policies and micro-segmentation.
- Perform Nutanix cluster creation, expansion, and migration of workloads from VMware to Nutanix.
- Administer Linux servers, including OS versions, lifecycle management, and enterprise-scale deployments.
- Deploy and manage workloads on AWS and other hyperscalers (Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Utilize Ansible/Terraform for infrastructure automation and management.
- Manage storage technologies (SAN) and perform updates and firmware upgrades.
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain clear communication with leadership, colleagues, and customers.
Required Skills:
- Expert-level experience with Linux adminstration, Nutanix Flow, AHV, AOS, and Prism.
- Proven experience in Linux system administration and virtualization technologies (VMware).
- Hands-on experience with AWS and other hyperscalers.
- Proficiency in Ansible/Terraform for automation.
- Strong knowledge of storage technologies and networking fundamentals.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Python/PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge of database platforms relevant to Windows and Linux server support.
- Understanding of security and identity management (AAA).
