Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Network Technician II to provide hands-on deskside and network operations support at their Englewood, CO office. The role includes break-fix work, hardware/software troubleshooting, network maintenance, and site-specific support. Ideal candidates will be highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced technical environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair desktops, laptops, servers, storage systems, and legacy hardware
  • Provide break-fix support and routine maintenance across PC and Mac environments
  • Support call taking and provide on-site technical assistance
  • Perform installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMACs)
  • Troubleshoot and support Windows, Apple OS, Linux/Unix systems, antivirus software, and Office 365
  • Test and certify PCs, servers, networks, and client-approved applications
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and communicate preventative maintenance needs
  • Maintain awareness of internal service delivery requirements and standards
  • Lead smaller technical projects or direct others as needed
  • Consistently demonstrate professionalism in customer interactions and appearance
 
Required Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of hands-on IT support experience
  • Strong knowledge of PC and Mac hardware, operating systems, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Expertise in Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (all versions) and Office 365
  • Experience supporting handheld devices, printers, laptops, and desktop software
  • Familiarity with network protocols and configuration, including internetworking concepts
  • Ability to test, certify, and support PCs, networks, and server environments
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Able to work independently and maintain task ownership under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
 
Preferred Certifications & Skills
  • Certifications: MCP, MCDST, MCSE (desired), CompTIA, Network+, or vendor-specific (HP, Dell, Toshiba, IBM, Cisco, EMC)
  • Project support or light project management experience
  • Experience with legacy product support
  • Exposure to enterprise-level hardware environments
