Job Details

The following requirement is open with our client.

Client : West Virginia University

Title : Oracle Access Manager

Location : Onsite

Duration : Long Term

  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of OAM:

Setting up and configuring OAM in various environments, including on-premises and cloud deployments, and ensuring its smooth operation through ongoing maintenance.

  • Identity and access management:

Implementing and managing access policies, including password policies, multi-factor authentication (MFA) configurations and user lifecycle management.

  • Integration with other systems:

Working with LDAP products like Microsoft Active Directory, WebLogic, and other Oracle products to establish identity federation and secure access.

  • Troubleshooting and problem resolution:

Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to OAM, OIM, and other related Oracle products.

  • Documentation and knowledge transfer:

Maintaining documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides, and providing detailed documentation for OAM implementations.

  • Policy administration:

Configuring and managing OAM policies, including access policies, authentication policies, and authorization policies.

  • User management:

Managing user accounts, groups, and roles, and ensuring proper access controls.

  • Audit reporting:

Configuring and managing audit reports to track user activity and identify security issues.

  • Federation and SSO:

Implementing and maintaining single sign-on (SSO) and identity federation with various systems, including cloud applications and mobile devices.

  • Security best practices:

Applying security best practices to ensure the security and integrity of the OAM environment.

  • Cloud and hybrid environments:

Designing and implementing IAM solutions for on-premises and cloud environments, including hybrid environments.

Key skills and qualifications for an OAM job typically include:

  • Strong understanding of security concepts, including identity management, access control, and authentication.
  • Experience with Oracle Access Manager (OAM), including installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Knowledge of related Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) products, such as Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) and Oracle Internet Directory (OID).
  • Experience with LDAP directories and identity federation.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., UNIX shell, WLST) and programming languages (e.g., Java).
  • Database experience, including SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with WebLogic administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
