Job Description: The Business Analyst with Data Analysis experience using Azure cloud for a retail convenience store client plays a crucial role in analyzing data to provide valuable insights and recommendations to improve business operations and decision-making processes. This position requires a deep understanding of both business operations within the retail industry and expertise in utilizing data analysis tools, specifically Azure cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources within the retail client s ecosystem to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Azure Cloud Expertise: Utilize Azure cloud services such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL Database to store, process, and analyze large datasets efficiently.
- Business Insights: Translate complex data sets into actionable insights that can drive strategic decisions for the retail client.
- Reporting: Develop reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT professionals, business stakeholders, and data engineers to ensure alignment on data analysis goals and strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and automation within the data analysis workflow to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Communication: Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis within the retail industry.
- Proficiency in using Azure cloud services for data processing and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Must Have :- Business Analysis, Data Analysis in Azure Cloud Environment
Good to have: Retail Domain experience with Loyalty and Customer Data Platform engagements, Power BI
Nice to have: key services (ADF, ADB, Logic Apps etc) of Azure Data Cloud
