Position: SAP Finance Architect / SME
Location: Houston, TX ( Fully Onsite )
Duration: 6+ months with possible extension
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Architect / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and deliver SAP S/4 HANA Finance solutions
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in SAP FICO, deep functional and technical expertise, and a proven track record of managing full life cycle SAP implementations.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of SAP Finance experience, including 8+ full life cycle SAP implementations.
- SAP S/4 HANA Finance certification(s) required.
- Strong expertise in SAP FICO configuration, integration (SD/MM), and finance modules (FI-GL, AR, AP, Asset Management, Taxation).
- Experience with tax engines (Vertex, Taxware/SOVOS), US and European taxation, and global finance processes.
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and large-scale projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with SAP ECC upgrades and migrations.
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, OpenText VIM, and integration of non-SAP applications.
