This position is for an expert SQL database administrator. The main project will involve migration of SQL Server databases and associated tables, stored procedures, triggers, jobs, and data to Google Cloud Platform hosted PostgreSQL. Deep knowledge of SQL Server, PostreSQL and migrations issues between them are needed. Beyond the initial migration project, ongoing SQL development tasks related to maintaining IDs and analyzing data and providing reports will be necessary.



ResponsibilitiesDesign/create database tables Analyze data, write queries, data reports Create functions and stored procedures Create, set up, and check SQL jobs Maintain SQL IDs.



Experience RequiredShould have 8+ years between SQL Server and PostreSQL.Must have successfully completed at least one large scale migration of SQL Server to PostgreSQL.Should be comfortable utilizing Jenkins jobs with Flyway to execute queries and be able to help others with their queries.SQL Server, Enterprise PostreSQL, Google Cloud Platform, Jenkins, Flyway



Experience PreferredGitHub, Elastic, Jira, Tekton, AI/LLMsAny additional experience with Elastic (ELK) would be valuable.



Education RequiredBachelor's Degree in Computer related field
