Technical Skill Set
Programming & Scripting
- Proficient in Java for enterprise-grade application development.
- Strong experience with Python scripting for automation, data processing, and analytics.
- Experience with MQ, Kafka, REST API
Data Engineering & Analytics
- Solid understanding of SQL for data querying and transformation.
- Familiarity with distributed file systems such as HDFS.
- Experience working with modern data platforms like Dremio and Snowflake for data virtualization and cloud-based analytics.
Domain Expertise
Global Trade Surveillance
- In-depth knowledge of trade surveillance frameworks across all asset classes, with a focus on behavioral pattern detection, market abuse monitoring and familiar with Material Non-Public Information(MNPI)
Global Markets Operations
- Strong understanding of order lifecycle management and execution workflows across asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income (FI), FX, Commodities, and Rates.
- Familiarity with Order Management Systems (OMS) and Execution Management Systems (EMS), as well as trading venues such as SEFs, MTFs, and ECNs.
- Understanding of the Communication Protocols (FIX, OUCH, SWIFT, FPML)
