Title: Sr. Technical Writer- Only W2
Location: Minneapolis, MN, 55111- Remote
Duration: 06+ Months
ONLY W2
Looking for 5 7 years related experience.
Responsibilities:
- Create technical microcopy, such as string and screen IDs, within design files.
- Manage UX strings in support of translation processes.
- Write clear and concise design/technical documentation in support of our regulatory and quality processes (e.g. graphical requirements specifications).
- Responsible for documentation submissions into Product Lifecyle Management (PLM) systems.
- Lead process and tool improvements related to technical documentation within your program.
- Collaborate effectively and frequently with cross-functional stakeholders within and outside of UX, leading the revision process, and any deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- BA or BS in a discipline related to Technical Writing and the English language (e.g. Business Communications, English), or 5 7 years related experience in content creation for a medical device manufacturer and/or equivalent combination of education or experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience writing/editing scientific/medical material in the medical device industry.
- Healthcare, life sciences, or diabetes experience preferred.
- Must have ability to understand medical, clinical, and technical aspects of diabetes management and drug delivery products.

- Exceptional writing and editing capabilities.
- High level of competency in applied writing skills, especially writing for a lay user audience.
- Precise attention to detail for technical documentation.
- Understanding of common design tools, language, and processes.
- Excellent project management abilities and process development skills.
- Able to coordinate responsibilities for the program in your care.
- Eagerness and aptitude to learn new technologies quickly.
- Able to prioritize work to meet program timelines and to respond to tight deadlines for urgent matters.
- Strong leadership skills able to influence many varying opinions and stakeholders, and lead through change.
- Strong interpersonal skills and track record of building collaborative relationships.
- Ability to coordinate and synthesize requirements from a variety of subject matter experts in upstream and downstream functions.
- Comfort with a dynamic agile software development environment.
- Ability to make problems visible and actively participate in solution-finding.
- Immense flexibility: driving a focused approach while being able to pivot in a growing, fast-moving organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools and applications; including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with quality management systems like Arena, Polarian, or similar (preferred).
- Proficiency with UX and planning tools such as Figma, Miro, Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet (preferred).
