Senior Business Analyst
A leading organization is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise-wide initiatives that enhance business processes and ensure the accuracy and integrity of critical data. This role is instrumental in driving strategic growth by collaborating across departments-including Field Operations, Accounting, Sales, and more-to implement impactful solutions, improve analytics capabilities, and optimize data and process integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership in gathering and managing business requirements to ensure alignment with organizational goals and maximize value.
- Define and implement best practices for requirements gathering, business case development, and ROI analysis.
- Identify and articulate issues, propose process improvements, and develop clear business cases for change.
- Evaluate current systems and processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements.
- Assess proposed solutions with attention to downstream impacts and cross-functional integration.
- Partner with technology teams to design, test, and implement software and process changes.
- Support system monitoring, data analysis, and issue escalation in collaboration with technology support teams.
- Establish and uphold data quality standards to support informed decision-making.
- Conduct research on industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic planning.
- Mentor and train junior analysts to prepare them for senior-level responsibilities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and provide strategic direction.
- Strong leadership and mentoring experience, particularly with junior analysts.
- Expertise in business and systems analysis, with a deep understanding of requirements gathering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office tools.
- Skilled in developing and presenting business cases with clear ROI.
- Adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to software and data issues.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex business needs into actionable insights.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on evaluating alternative solutions.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are highly preferred.
