*Hybrid in Charlotte, NC*

One of our clients in the Charlotte Area is looking for an IT Administrator to add to their team. The IT Administrator will manage technology assets throughout the lifecycle, from acquisition to retirement. The IT Administrator will optimize technology investments and ensure compliance with all contractual agreements.

The IT Administrator will oversee the purchase, tracking, and maintenance of all software and hardware licenses. The IT Administrator will ensure compliance with licensing agreements and optimize licensing strategies. The IT Administrator will coordinate with division managers and Enterprise I&T on hardware and software standards. The IT Administrator will join a dynamic and innovative team where your expertise in technology asset management will drive efficiency and value.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $45 - $50 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

  • Administer an IT Asset Management (ITAM) tool to track all technology assets.
  • Collaborate with division managers and Enterprise I&T on hardware and software standards.
  • Track vendor orders, escalate issues, and manage hardware returns/warranty repairs.
  • Develop and report on hardware refresh cycles.
  • Generate detailed asset reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Oversee the technology surplus program for proper hardware recycling.
  • Use advanced Excel skills for tracking costs and expenses.


Experience Requirements:
Experience Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in IT licensing audits and/or contract renewals.
  • 2+ years in developing hardware refresh cycles and creating detailed asset reports.
  • Manage technology surplus programs for proper hardware recycling.
  • Strong understanding of IT asset management principles and best practices.
  • Implement continuous improvements in IT Asset Management (ITAM) practices.

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or relevant work experience.
