Location: Cincinnati, OH/San Jose, CA/Charlotte, NC/Boca Raton, FL/Chicago, IL/Portland, OR

Duration: 12+ Months contract to hire

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support the ongoing enhancements, expansion, and maintenance of in-house Content Management System (CMS) and affiliated React Components. The CMS is a critical tool used by Site Experience and Site Production teams to build and publish content for various sales and brand promotions across the web and native app. You will be an integral part of our multi-team digital Asset Management Platform (AMP).

Responsibilities

As a Front-End Quality Engineer, your responsibilities include:
  1. Test Automation:
    • Create and maintain automated test cases.
    • Execute test suites to ensure product quality.
    • Leverage your experience with Playwright for front-end automation.
  2. Technical Expertise:
    • Work with RESTful APIs and mock services.
    • Utilize your knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Webdriver IO, Mocha, Chai, Jest).
    • Familiarity with npm/yarn and CI/CD tools (Git, GitLab).
  3. Quality Assurance:
    • Review and diagnose reported bugs, ensuring overall product quality.
    • Consider test scenarios during backlog refinement and sprint planning for React and NodeJS web platforms (Content Management).
  4. Nice-to-Have Skills:
    • React experience along with Node.


Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:
  • Experience:
    • Proficiency in front-end test automation.
    • Familiarity with Playwright, RESTful APIs, and mocking services.
    • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control (Git).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks (Selenium, Webdriver IO, Mocha, Chai, Jest).
    • Comfort working with npm/yarn.
  • Quality Mindset:
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to overall product quality.
    • Ability to review and diagnose reported bugs effectively.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Site Experience, Site Production) to enhance the CMS.
    • Participate in backlog refinement and sprint planning.
