Senior Java Developer with Capital Markets Industry Background Fulltime/Permanent Position Toronto, ON, Canada
- The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who understands the Capital Markets domain and enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up.
- They must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products.
- The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of optimizing or even re-designing our company s data architecture to support our next generation of products and data initiatives.
- 7+ years of relevant experience as Java developer.
- Experience with: Java, Spring, Spring Boot
- Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, HDFS, ADLS, ADF, Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Dremio etc.
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Cassandra.
- Experience designing production grade, scalable applications and microservices.
- Capital Markets experience required.
- Experience working on Agile Teams.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Has strong customer focus
- Experience in Python, Scala
- Undergraduate degree.
