Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer - Qualcomm Audio

Join a supportive and highly collaborative team at Microsoft focused on firmware and drivers for next-generation gaming accessories. You will be a key contributor, writing C/C++ code to implement core functionality for a new, high-volume wireless gaming audio headset in a lab environment.

Design, bring up, and implement real-time embedded audio system features on a Qualcomm-based platform. Develop production-quality firmware publishing pipelines and robust test strategies. Write, debug, and optimize C/C++ code for high-volume consumer electronics. Utilize specialized tooling (Qualcomm compilers, JTAG) to bring up and debug physical devices.

Minimum of **10 years** of experience with Qualcomm firmware, SDKs, and toolchains.

Minimum of **10 years** of professional experience coding in C/C++ for embedded systems.

Proven experience developing and debugging embedded systems using Qualcomm compilers and tooling.

**Must be able to work 5 days a week onsite** in Redmond, WA.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with wireless communication protocols, including USB, BR/EDR (Bluetooth Classic), and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy).

Experience with consumer electronics devices that are battery-powered and communicate wirelessly.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
