Location: Chicago, IL
Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility for non-standard hours (including weekends or holidays)

This is a unique opportunity to join the build and setup of a hyperscale data center-an environment where infrastructure meets innovation at massive scale. We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Data Center Technician to help bring next-generation cloud infrastructure to life.

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join the build and setup of a hyperscale data center-an environment where infrastructure meets innovation at massive scale. We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Data Center Technician to help bring next-generation cloud infrastructure to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure racks, servers, switches, and other hardware components
- Perform startups and shutdowns following detailed checklists and safety protocols
- Run diagnostics and troubleshoot hardware issues, replacing faulty components as needed
- Support refreshes and upgrades, including memory swaps and OS rebuilds
- Ensure quality and compliance with grounding, labeling, and cabling standards
- Collaborate with leads to escalate incidents and maintain operational excellence
What You Bring
- 2-4 years of experience in data center environments (rack & stack, break/fix, deployments, decommissions)
- Certifications such as A+, Network+, or CCNA are highly desirable
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred
- Solid understanding of computer hardware and networking fundamentals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays
