Job Details

Vanguard is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our Global Brand Marketing team as a Senior Manager, Marketing Operations. In this pivotal role, you will lead our Project Management and Vendor Management crew, driving operational excellence and ensuring marketing initiatives align with departmental and divisional priorities. You'll play a key role in shaping and executing critical programs, serving as a program or project manager for high-impact initiatives as needed. Responsibilities
  • Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Influences and manages strategic operational initiatives. Develops and executes short and long range strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Oversees, identifies and develops integrated solutions, and identifies opportunities to leverage technologies and solutions to improve marketing and advertising plans. Develops strategies to deploy marketing content.
  • Consults with internal partners on operational deliverables. Maintains relationships and communications with stakeholders, agencies, and IT professionals. Presents marketing strategic data vision and business plan to business leaders.
  • Oversees technology systems, identifies issues, develops solutions to ensure marketing operations maintain constant function. Researches technical issues and performs root cause analysis.
  • Participates in and may lead annual business planning and strategy for the department. Establishes, implements and monitors quality control procedures for all data related aspects of campaigns. Identifies and uses relevant analytics to evaluate success of marketing efforts and recommends changes for future improvements.
  • Understands and complies with IT policies and procedures, Enterprise Data Governance, Privacy, Legal, and Information Security policies and procedures, and verifies deliverables meet requirements.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Minimum eight years related work experience, three years in marketing production and operations. Supervisory experience preferred.
