Job Summary - IT Business Analyst II
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst II to support application development initiatives for internal business teams. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translate them into technical user stories, and support development and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle. You will manage the product backlog, contribute to roadmap planning, and ensure successful UAT and training prior to release. This is a full-time, onsite role supporting ongoing application enhancements and continuous improvement efforts.

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, document, and validate business requirements.
- Develop detailed business design documents and user stories.
- Create and manage development work items using tools such as ADO/TFS.
- Work with development and QA teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical designs and test strategies.
- Support application development throughout design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
- Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Assist with training and communication for new features or updates.
- Help define product roadmap and release plans alongside other Business Analysts.
- Manage and prioritize the application backlog to maximize business value.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
- Proficiency with ADO/TFS, Jira, or similar backlog management tools.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams.
qualifications:
Qualifications
6+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
Proven experience supporting application development teams.
Experience conducting UAT and facilitating stakeholder training.
Solid knowledge of user-centered design principles.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred certifications:
PMI-PBA
CBAP (IIBA)
