Job Title: Sr. Palantir Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Palantir Foundry to lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud platforms, and interactive application development using Palantir Foundry modules. This role involves building robust data pipelines, developing Ontologies, ensuring robust data governance across enterprise systems, and delivering interactive applications and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across business domains.

Must haves:

  • Proficiency in Palantir Foundry modules: Ontology, Workshop, Quiver, Contour, Taurus.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, SQL, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services including S3, Lambda, Glue, and Redshift.
  • Knowledge of data governance, access control models, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in building dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and Foundry Dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement complex pipelines using Palantir Foundry s Pipeline Builder.
  • Develop and manage Ontologies, Object Types, Views, and Actions to support semantic data modeling and graph-based navigation.
  • Build interactive applications using Foundry Workshop, Slate, and AIP, integrating UI workflows with Ontology-backed data.
  • Conduct time-series and ad-hoc analysis using Quiver and Contour, and leverage Taurus for advanced data modeling and visualization.
  • Optimize data models and transformations using PySpark, SQL, and Foundry DSL for high-performance analytics.
  • Integrate machine learning models into Foundry workflows for predictive analytics and real-time decision support.
  • Ensure data governance, lineage tracking, and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and recovery mechanisms to ensure pipeline reliability and data integrity.
  • Maintain version control and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and rollback procedures.
  • Document architecture, processes, and enhancements using Foundry Documentation App and Confluence.
