Project Overview
- The company is managing four Microsoft 365 tenants that collectively support seven different companies, including one recently acquired in the UK.
- Long-term goal: consolidate all tenants into a single M365 environment, but this has been delayed longer than expected.
- Immediate need: standardize Intune and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) across all environments and replicate best practices
Current Challenges
- Multiple moving pieces due to acquisitions and ongoing operations.
- Running day-to-day IT while trying to stand up a new company.
- Existing Intune infrastructure was built by an MSP, but they now need someone to optimize and scale it.
- Need full discovery of current tenant configurations to identify gaps, missed opportunities, and functionality issues.
- Looking for best practices and guidance on what s possible with Intune
Role Requirements
- Intune and Entra ID expertise with hands-on experience in multi-tenant environments.
- Ability to standardize and replicate configurations across tenants.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and deployment.
- Experience with M365 migrations, device provisioning, and deprovisioning workflows.
- Discovery and rollout expected to take 2 3 weeks per tenant.
