Job Summary:
Engineering Position - Aircraft Maintenance & Technical Publications
Overview: Seeking an experienced Engineering professional with expertise to support aircraft maintenance procedures and technical publications. This role involves analyzing engineering data, reliability metrics, and supply chain insights to develop comprehensive maintenance instructions. The ideal candidate will be adept at influencing product designs for enhanced supportability and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, reliability data, and customer support concepts to develop aircraft maintenance instructions.
- Provide recommendations on product supportability and establish operational maintenance tasks and required resources.
- Identify and analyze logistics support candidates, developing logistics support analysis records and reports.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for the operation, testing, inspection, and maintenance of aircraft systems/components.
- Review logistics support analysis reports and revise initial maintenance instructions for continued airworthiness (ICA).
- Track and manage task completion using workflow management tools.
- Perform quality checks on completed maintenance tasks to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Influence maintenance approaches and product designs to optimize supportability and maintainability.
Project Focus:
- Serve as a Maintenance Task Analyst, reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings to develop front-end technical publications.
- Conduct repair analysis, ensuring maintenance procedures align with engineering standards and operational needs.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Proficiency in REDARS, tool for reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Technical publications expertise, with demonstrated ability in document creation and maintenance procedures.
- Product support analyst experience, including logistics support and maintenance documentation.
- Slicwave experience, ensuring effective integration of maintenance procedures.
- Cross-functional collaboration experience, working with diverse teams beyond core skillsets.
- Minimum of 2+ years of aviation engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required).
