Payrate: $60.00 - $70.00/hr.

Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to support our Hardware Design TPMs in driving engineering, design deliverables, managing hardware component delivery, and creating development schedules. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the product. development processes, familiarity with product design fabrication processes, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Responsibilities:
  • Support Hardware Design TPMs in coordinating and driving engineering design deliverables, including specifications, DOE, and validation plans
  • Manage delivery of hardware components for development builds and drive qualification to meet mass production timelines
  • Create development, delivery, and qualification schedules based on system requirements, technical challenges, lead-times, and business needs
  • Manage program structure to optimize clarity and efficiency for program teams and leadership
  • Communicate program statuses, identifying potential setbacks, including vendor tooling schedules and design sprints
  • Manage communication between and between internal cross-functional and external partners
  • Ensure program documents are complete, current, and available for staff and leadership review

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience working as a technology development program manager in consumer electronics
  • Experience working with overseas suppliers of hardware components
  • Experience in ODM, JDM, and CM vendor engagement models
  • Knowledge of phase gate approach to technology development programs
  • Experience with mechanical system development, design for manufacturing, tooling, validation, and characterization processes
  • Adept at communicating, planning, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Knowledge of program top issue tracking
  • Experience operating across multiple teams and programs

Nice-to-have Skills:
  • Supplier management skills - work overseas Supplier
  • Prefer Senior experience, happy to take an engineer who has experience in programming management

Must-Have Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in Hardware engineering or technical program management in consumer electronics hardware
  • Experience working with many cross-functional partners
  • Clear communication - Regular status - verbal and written

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
