Position Title: Senior SAP Developer

Pay Rate: $50/hr - $53/hr on W2
Position Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Developer to lead and deliver complex SAP solutions in a large-scale, high-visibility IT environment. This role requires deep functional and technical expertise across SAP HCM modules, strong ABAP development skills, and hands-on experience designing and supporting enterprise SAP landscapes.
In this role, you will act as a technical lead, providing direction and guidance to project engineers, analysts, and developers while collaborating closely with cross-functional business and IT teams. You will play a critical role in analyzing business requirements, configuring SAP solutions, and ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
This position is ideal for a seasoned SAP professional who enjoys ownership, leadership without formal people management, and contributing to mission-critical systems in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead functional analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing for SAP implementations and enhancements
Serve as a technical lead for SAP HCM-related initiatives, providing guidance and quality oversight to project team members
Design and configure SAP HCM modules including OM/PA, HR Development, eCareer, EHS, and related components
Develop and support ABAP solutions including RICEF objects, InfoTypes, Logical Databases, HR Processes, and Forms
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business processes into scalable SAP solutions
Design and support SAP Fiori applications and Launchpad architecture, including role-based access and security controls
Coordinate project activities across multiple organizations and technical teams
Support SAP S/4HANA integrations and SAP PO interfaces
Ensure compliance with SAP HR security standards and data governance best practices
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and utilize tools such as VersionOne and ServiceNow
Mentor and support less-experienced team members through knowledge sharing and technical leadership
Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation and system design artifacts
Required Skills / Education:
10+ years of experience in SAP development, enterprise application development, or related IT roles
Strong hands-on experience with SAP HCM HR modules (OM/PA, HR Development, eCareer, EHS)
Advanced ABAP development experience, including RICEF objects and HR-specific enhancements
Experience designing and supporting SAP Fiori applications and architecture (Launchpad, role-based design)
Solid understanding of HR business processes, workflows, and data models
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Process Orchestration (PO)
Knowledge of SAP HR Security concepts and best practices
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as VersionOne
Experience working with IT Service Management tools, preferably ServiceNow
Strong background in relational database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, or similar), including performance tuning and documentation
Ability to work independently on high-visibility, mission-critical programs
Proven experience mentoring or guiding junior developers or engineers
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
