Job Title: PL/SQL Developer
Location: Texas (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)
Employment Type: W2

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize database solutions for enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, database performance tuning, and complex query development. You will work closely with application teams, business users, and data architects to deliver reliable data solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.

  • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and integration.

  • Optimize database performance, indexing, queries, and stored procedures.

  • Collaborate with application teams to integrate PL/SQL with front-end and backend systems.

  • Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.

  • Work with large datasets and ensure data accuracy, security, and quality.

  • Participate in database design, schema changes, and code reviews.

  • Support batch jobs, ETL processes, and data migration activities.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer.

  • Strong hands-on skills with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database objects.

  • Proficiency in performance tuning, query optimization, and execution plans.

  • Experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c or similar versions.

  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands, shell scripting (optional).

  • Strong understanding of data modeling, RDBMS, and database architecture.

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in banking, finance, or telecom domains.

  • Exposure to ETL tools, Informatica, or DataStage (nice to have).

  • Knowledge of Python, Autosys, or Control-M scheduling tools.

  • Familiarity with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Oracle Cloud).


Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
