Mantech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Administrator with a focus on Cisco Networks to join our team in Laurel, MD.
You will be part of a mission-driven team delivering enterprise infrastructure capabilities to support a global workforce engaged in national defense operations

You will be part of a mission-driven team delivering enterprise infrastructure capabilities to support a global workforce engaged in national defense operations
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain and upgrade network infrastructure, including routers and switches
- Update and configure antivirus software and other tools to secure the network
- Apply Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) updates to switches and follow Software Test and Evaluation (STE) policies
- Design and plan Cisco NEXUS network infrastructure, including setup and ongoing maintenance
- Configure Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) for switch administration
- Use network monitoring and management tools such as Solarwinds to oversee network performance
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule between 6:00am-6:00pm and may be assigned to an evening patching schedule
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university with 12+ years of experience as a Network Administrator. 3 additional years of Network Administration experience with an associate's degree OR 8 years of additional experience and a high school diploma might be substituted
- Demonstrated experience downloading software and upgrading Cisco switches and firewalls
- Strong technical background in Cisco FirePower Firewalls
- IAT II certification (DoD 8140 required within 60 days of starting employment. Acceptable certifications include CCNA-Security/CySA+/GICSP/GSEC/Security+ CE/CND/ or SSCP)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with configuring, scripting, and managing Unix, RHEL and Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with Scanboy
- Familiarity with JIRA ticketing system
- Familiarity with Enclave environments
- Familiarity with Solarwinds
- Familiarity using LatteART and XACTA
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate must be able to move, carry, and deliver workstations from the office to the customer's desk
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, or virtual meetings, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
