Position: Epic Orders Certified Implementation Analyst Location: North Hills, Long island, NY (Hybrid) Duration: Full Time Role
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Epic Orders Analyst for a full-time, permanent role. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with the Epic Orders module, focusing on system, implementation, and support to optimize order workflows in a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, build, implementation, and customization of the Epic Orders module.
Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical configurations.
Develop and maintain order sets, smart sets, preference lists, and clinical decision support tools.
Conduct system testing, workflow validation, and end-user training related to the Epic Orders functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues in the Epic Orders module.
Serve as the Epic subject matter expert for all things related to orders and associated workflows.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support optimization initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation of system build and changes.
Required Qualifications:
Active Epic Orders Certification (must be current and verifiable).
3+ years of experience with Epic Orders implementation and support.
Strong knowledge of clinical order workflows in a healthcare setting.
Proven ability to configure and maintain Epic tools like order sets, smart tools, and decision support logic.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clinicians and IT teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications in other Epic clinical modules (e.g., ClinDoc, ASAP, Beacon).
Experience with Epic optimization, upgrades, or large-scale implementations.
Familiarity with data exchange standards like HL7, FHIR, and interface integration.
